Careers
We are a discovery company, so most of the work happens at the bench or close to it. We hire people who want to see their molecules measured.
Lead hit-to-lead and lead optimisation on one or more programmes. You will own the chemistry strategy for a series, working directly with the model ensemble that proposes libraries and with the assay team that measures them.
Design and validate biochemical and cell-based assays at pico-scale, including acceptance criteria and controls. You will be responsible for the measurement quality that everything downstream depends on.
Build cell-based readouts that reflect target biology in a relevant context, and work with data science to make those measurements usable for modelling.
Own the models that rank the next library. Experience with molecular representations is welcome but not required; experience building models that are validated against experimental data is essential.
Specify, integrate and maintain the plate handling, liquid handling and imaging systems the platform runs on. You will work alongside the scientists who use them daily.
Work between chemistry and modelling: property prediction, synthetic accessibility, and the translation of programme objectives into library design constraints.
Run high-throughput screening campaigns, maintain assay quality, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.
